We Have the Power to Impact Our Future, and We’re Doing Something About It!

For over 50 years, a leading non-profit, Pennsylvanians for Human Life’s (PHL) mission has been to educate persons of all ages about the dignity of human life from conception to natural death. We recognize that the greatest threat to human life is the lack of information about the biological, intellectual and social uniqueness, absolute worth and irreplaceable value of every person. Through knowledge, PHL empowers youth and adults to achieve a future that RESPECTS EVERY LIFE.

Our Initiatives

Education

We are not here to tell someone to choose life but rather to offer facts to enable well-informed decisions. Our presentations are designed to offer clear, engaging and accurate information that our audiences may not have received elsewhere. We seek to shed light on the process of human development before birth and to explain abortion through case studies. These studies share the dilemma that created the request for an abortion, the options and choices selected and a look back on alternatives. We delve into the spill-over impact of abortion on the increasing interest in infanticide, assisted suicide and euthanasia. We educate in private and public forums with a special emphasis on schools.

Classroom Speakers

PHL’s speakers bring a variety of personal, educational and professional experiences to the presentations. They include doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, artists, engineers and business leaders. Our speakers reflect society and have one thing in common, a solid commitment to life and believe that education is the way to change hearts and minds. Our speakers are trained with the most up-to-date information. We work to understand your needs and provide the best presenter that matches them.  We value feedback in order to be the best we can be.

Resources

As an educational leader, PHL recognizes the need for a range of information sources and support to navigate life decisions. Therefore, it is our pleasure to provide easy access to articles, insights, links, the latest in the news and other organizations also striving to build communities centered on the value of life..

Support

There are many ways to support our mission: Donations enable models for our audiences to see and touch as well as support our operations; Outreach to schools, parishes or within your community and sharing through social media helps spread the message of our work; Join one of our events; Become a volunteer speaker.

Thank you to you and Tricia for coming to speak! That was so powerful and so beautiful to hear you tell your story together! There’s definitely something different about you two sharing your story together because it’s a journey you went on together and still are. It’s beautiful to see how the Holy Spirit is working with you both and in ways that we can’t even see! I’ve even been telling people that weren’t able to come to the talk about your story and they are so moved! And there were people there that I didn’t even tell about or even know so it was definitely the Holy Spirit that led them to you guys! Thank you for being such a strong witness to the faith. I especially liked how this time the talk was centered on the healing process and the graces received after (like your 7 children!) and how to receive the love and mercy God is pouring down on us and in dealing with feeling like we’re underserving but like you said God wants to spoil his children and if we’re sitting with our sins of the past we can’t be in the present! So thank you again!
